Funerals are never easy occasions to attend or to organise. In Loving Memory were asked to design and produce a bespoke, beautiful Order of Service Booklet to hand out to the guests at the funeral service for Gillian. In Loving Memory always attempt to encourage a range of emotions through their booklets and create interesting talking points and historical facts about those who have recently passed away.

Gillian was full of life, an effervescent character who loved being outdoors and going for walks all over the country. She was a big rugby fan, particularly Scotland and went to watch them numerous times. She was also a fan of the Scottish group and brothers, The Proclaimers. Gillian loved going to the theatre, singing, film, gardening, reading, playing golf and she adored her blue electric mini.

Throughout the booklet, In Loving Memory used watercolour illustrations of flowers, including thistles linking to her Scottish heritage. The cover used a full bleed image of a wild flowers blowing in the wind to represent her vibrant personality and her love of the outdoors. Images of her interests were positioned throughout the booklet adding a very personal insight into her life.

The look and feel of the Order of Service booklet represented the ‘bright and breezy’ nature of Gill. In Loving memory have created a beautiful booklet that family and friends can cherish forever, a fitting tribute and memory that Gills full and wonderful life deserved.
